It’s a special time of year, for me it’s my favorite time of year. I want you to think about how in spite of whatever is happening in the world around you some things never change. I can remember when Vince Lombardi went into the Green Bay Packers' locker room at halftime and he grabbed those athletes that had such a great season who were totally screwing up in the first half of the game.
He took a football and he said, "Gentlemen, I want to talk to you about something. This is a football." and it began to get them back into the basics. Well, if you are a Christian, this is your football. So let us take a look at the fundamentals of how you play the game because we are actually still in the game. The game is determined by the word of God. You should get your Bible now. We are gonna go to Luke chapter one and this is the real Christmas story. It starts off not with Jesus, but with John the Baptist.
