How many people don't vote? George Barna in 2012 determined that there were thirty-nine million born-again evangelicals who did not show up. In 2016, many people in the rust belt were utterly demoralized. For thirty years, their votes didn't matter in their state, especially for the President. They never dreamed that Donald Trump could win that election.
